We are now seeking highly motivated, intelligent, creative, and nice people to serve as Accounting System Implementation Professionals to bring our product into production at marquee fund of hedge funds.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and implement Cogency's accounting and operations application for funds of hedge funds.
  • Project management, working closely with client to define project requirements, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Work with fund accountants and risk analysts at customer site to reconcile the implementation to prior-system data
  • Work closely with the product development team to help make this the best product in its space.
  • Conduct individual or group product training as required

Requirements:

  • Domain experience in general ledger accounting, partnership accounting, portfolio management, or related areas
  • Excellent math, logic and financial-analysis skills
  • SQL Database skills in Microsoft SQL Server; PC skills in Excel, MS-Project, MS-Word
  • Professional presence; consulting experience; works well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Self motivated, ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision

Home base could be either New York or San Francisco metro areas. This job requires travel to client locations in New York, and other cities in the US and abroad.
